Having at least 3 planned out meals a day will fill you up, keep you from unnecessary snacking, and give you the energy you need to get through your day. Just make sure you’re intentional with what you’re eating for these meals.

Okay, we know this one might seem a little weird, but you need to chew your food and eat more slowly. By doing so, your body will feel fuller faster and it prevents you from snacking later on or overeating in the moment. Whenever your stomach starts to moan and groan, drink a glass of water. This will help you feel fuller and also keep you hydrated, so it’s a win-win! Foods that are high in protein help to make you feel fuller faster and for longer amounts of time. They help to control your appetite aka your tummy rumbles and also boost your metabolism, so you burn calories and fat quicker. If you want to eat less and really kick hunger in the butt, then opt for high protein foods like eggs.
We hate to break it to you, but sugar is not your friend. Sugars and artificial sweeteners might taste amazing, but when you’re trying to lose weight, snacks with high sugar content should be avoided at all costs. Sugar actually depletes your energy quickly and makes you hungrier than you were before. That’s why you’ll never be satisfied if you choose a sugary snack when you’re hungry.
